The Antioch Retreat is an exciting, fun, prayerful, inspirational, and spiritual retreat for mainly sophomores, but juniors and seniors are also welcomed to participate. All sophomores must participate in one full retreat. The Antioch experience consists of: witness talks, small group discussions, prayer, reconciliation, singing, and community building. At this retreat, you will learn more about yourself, your relationships with family and friends, and renew your sense of faith in Jesus Christ. Each candidate is required to participate in one of the two retreats and the three follow up sessions. Throughout the year two retreats are held, one in December and one in late February or early March.
Follow-Up Sessions: Both the Alpha Retreats and Antioch Retreats have follow-up sessions for the team and candidates. The witness talks presented during the follow-up gatherings flow from the sequence of the liturgical year, which means they are lectionary-based. During these sessions, there is always a witness talk, small group discussion, large group feedback and discussion, singing and prayer.
Retreat dates are December 7th - 8th. Please note that all registrants will be on a first come, first served basis. Spaces are limited, we will only be accepting 40 candidates. Participants must attend the entire weekend. A waitlist will open once capacity is reached. Please submit one registration per child.
