Welcome to Family Faith Formation for grades PreK3 through 8th Grade at St. Vincent Martyr Parish!

Are you looking for a way to support your child’s faith in a positive and accessible way? The truth is, nobody has more influence on a child's faith than their parents! At times, however, it can feel like a challenge to know how to support and guide your child in their faith, especially if you find yourself still learning and seeking on your own personal faith journey. We want to walk with you by offering you the resources and support you need to feel confident in bringing your faith alive at home, all while fostering a deeper connection with God and with one another! A New Model for Faith Formation
Pathways is our new and engaging model for faith formation (formerly known as CCD or Religious Education), designed to connect and support families, foster an encounter with God, learn and grow together in our Catholic faith, and empower parents with skills and support to enrich family life and faith. 

How does Family Faith Formation work?
Each family will attend one Sunday session per month from 10:00 am-11:30 am between October and April. Sunday Mass, gathering for a teaching on a topic in our Catholic faith, classes and activities for each grade level, and a session specifically designed for parents. Additionally, we provide take-home activities to support engaging conversations and positive experiences with faith at home! Families are welcome to attend any of our Sunday Masses but all are invited to attend either our 9:00am Children's Mass in the Church before the session. We will also hold another Children's Mass at 9:00 am in the gym to accommodate all families.   

Who can attend?
Pathways Family Formation is for families with children in PreK through 8th grade. Our 1st-8th Graders will participate in age-appropriate small groups while Pre-K and Kindergarten children will join our Catechesis of the Good Sheperd program. We require at least one parent to attend, but both parents' attendance is encouraged. Grandparents are also welcome. 

Is First Reconciliation and First Communion covered by Family Faith Formation?
Yes, Pathways Family Faith Formation constitutes our parish's sacramental preparation for children. The classes for second grade are specifically designed to prepare children for their sacraments.

Registration and Schedule
When you register, you will be prompted to choose Schedule A or Schedule B (scroll down on this page to see the schedule options). The schedule track that is chosen by each family will remain their designated schedule for the entirety of the year. Please note that the content and activities for both tracks are the same. The cost is $225 for one child, $275 total for two children, and $325 for three or more children. Register at the link below:
