Loyola Retreat House::
Attention: Men of the Parish
Silence
“Silence” comes from the Latin word “silens’ meaning stillness. Stillness, the renowned theologian Father Romano Guardini tells us, “is the tranquility of the inner life’ the quiet at the depths of its hidden streams. It is a collected, total presence, a being ‘all there’, receptive, alert, ready . . . It is when the soul abandons the restlessness of purposeful activity.” Experience stillness for yourself, Join the men of the Parish for our Annual Retreat under the direction of the Jesuits at Loyola Retreat house in Morristown and begins with dinner on Friday evening, January 8 and ends by noon on Sunday, January 10.
