St. Vincent Martyr Parish is blessed with an established, vibrant music ministry and a storied history. We believe that music is an integral part of our liturgical celebrations. We invite all parishioners to be part of music ministry either by your participation from the pew, in one of our choirs, or by volunteering behind the scenes.
Please contact Peter Solecki, Director of Music Ministry, for more information on any of these groups.

Parish Choir is the flagship choral ensemble for St. Vincent Martyr Music Ministry. Opens to teens and adults and spanning in age from 14-80, this ensemble meets every Wednesday evening (7:30 - 9:00 p.m.) during the choir season (mid-Sept.-May) to prepare for service to the Sunday 10:30 Liturgy. Our Bell Choir is a highly dedicated ensemble serving to enhance various liturgies with the beauty and unique sound of handbells and choir chimes. This ensemble serves both alone and alongside our other choirs. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in the church.
Update: Choristers will resume rehearsals Wednesday, March 16 at 3:00-3:45 PM. We will be preparing to minister at the 9am Mass on Easter Sunday.

This young group of music ministers accepts members from 3rd - 8th grade boys and girls in treble voice range. Music for these children, while "youth" centered, includes much of the traditional repertoire of the congregation. Interested seventh and eighth graders receive training as young Psalmists and Cantors.
All children are most welcome at any time of the year.
There are further opportunities for individuals with extra leadership talent in the area of cantor ministry. These men and women serve to lead the sung prayer at liturgies throughout the year. Cantors are trained as psalmists and leaders of song by the Director of Music Ministry.
