Denise Stefanelli graduated from the University of Scranton in 1999 with a BA in Communication. She began her career in ministry as a Campus Minister at the Bishop Frank J. Rodimer Catholic Campus Ministry Center and Prince of Peace Chapel that serves William Paterson University of NJ. There she advised and was involved in campus ministry, instructed RCIA and designed a universality series, and coordinated volunteer opportunities, and donation programs. She decided to pursue a masters degree and was a Lay Ministry Educational Grant Recipient through the Diocese of Paterson, while teaching high school religion and coordinating the Peer Ministry Program for teens. She graduated from Felician College in 2005 with her MA in Religious Education. Denise continued her own education and faith pursuits in working with young children in two Paterson elementary schools and there gained additional experience as a Director of Religious Education, including sacramental preparation.
In 2009 Denise joined our staff and heads numerous programs for children and families from grades Pre-K through 8th including: Moms With Little Ones, Get Ready, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Home/Cluster Program, Sacramental Preparation, Traditional Classroom, Family Sunday, Junior High Ministry and most recently, Vacation Bible School.
Denise is married to her husband Michael and has a two children: Nicholas and Angelina.
