Summer Support...
Over the summer, Fr. Yojan told us about a mom from our Hispanic Ministry in need of support. She was facing a high-risk pregnancy and told by her doctor that she could not work. This was a tremendous blow to her family who rely on her income. So we put together a list of things she needed and you all responded beautifully! All the things she needed were provided to her as well as over $2,000 in monetary donations. The stress this alleviated was enormous and she & her husband await the arrival of her baby girl with great peace.
The Mom's message to us:
“We loved everything. Wow, beautiful all the gifts, the details of the cards, we read all the beautiful words of each person. We are very grateful to God, to you and to Father Yojaneider, and to all the people who gave their love with their gifts, may God multiply them. In gratitude we are going to offer some masses for all the people who took the time and love to give us everything for our beloved daughter. With much affection, God and the Virgin Mary bless you and protect you with her mantle.”
